Douglas has managed many digital projects ranging from GS1 global's Global data dictionary, GS1 in Europe's eGovernment program to EDI analysis roles for a multi-national.
Specialities: GS1 systems notably EDI and EPCIS (Track and Trace systems for assets and goods). Douglas holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool.
 

Veit Jahns: BSc, Diplom-Informatik (MSc), Ph.D.

Veit has extensive experience in project management, not least his role at CEN where he was lead on the eCatalogue project. 
He is a proven software specialists with a PhD in Information systems from The University of Duisberg-Essen, Germany.

Doctoral Thesis: "Conceptual Modelling of Public Services: A metaphor-oriented analysis". In this thesis, Veit applied the Conceptual Metaphor Theory from cognition science to the conceptual modelling of public service to facilitate the implementation of e-government services.
