Foreword from Douglas Walker Hill, Principal consultant & founder:
The reason I created Walker-Hill Consulting was to fill the gap in the market for truly knowledgeable Data Exchange and EDI consultants.
My mission is to offer a third party hands-on consultancy service that picks up the slack in organisations where there isn't enough in-house resource available or you simply do not have the tools to give you a third party evaluation of your issues.
So, if you have discrete pieces of work, or a time bound project based issue where you cannot source in-house expertise, then please feel free to call or email me and I'll be more than happy to help where I can.
Walker-Hill Consulting is a small independent Danish based company that prides itself on having over 35 years' worth of digital supply chain knowledge.
As an add-on, I specialise in consulting on GS1 systems especially the four pillars of the GS1 system; EPCIS, EDI, AIDC, GDSN and optimising business processes through the application of these standards and services.
I created the consultancy in 2019 after many long and interesting years at GS1 organisations where I was the COO of eBusiness at GS1 Denmark, however, I started my GS1 career at GS1 Global as Head of EDI and the GS1 Global Data Dictionary at GS1 Global office. (Technical Owner as it was called then in 2004).
